About Aunty
Hello, I'm Pretty La, an English tutor from Akwa Ibom with over 4 years of experience helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.
I am passionate about English because I know how much it can change your life - from passing WAEC and JAMB to getting that job or relocating abroad.
I studied and I have taught both kids and adults, online and offline. My students describe me as patient, friendly, and very clear when explaining.
I love reading, teaching, and seeing my students grow in confidence. Teaching is not just work for me - it is my calling.
When you learn with me, you get a tutor who truly cares about your success and will support you every step of the way. Let's achieve your English goals together!

My approach to tutoring is friendly, practical, and results-driven.
I don't just teach grammar rules - I help you USE English confidently in real life. Each lesson starts with your goal: whether it's passing WAEC, scoring high in IELTS, or speaking fluently at work.
We will focus on:
- Clear explanations of difficult topics
- Lots of speaking practice and corrections
- Past questions for WAEC/JAMB/IELTS
- Homework and feedback to track progress
- Building confidence to speak without fear
Lessons are 100% online via WhatsApp Video, Google Meet, or Zoom. I provide notes, PDFs, and voice recordings after each class.
I adapt to your level - beginner, intermediate, or advanced. No judgement, just steady improvement.
