About Raelene

I’m a passionate guitar tutor with over 12 years of experience, specializing in teaching college students. My goal is to help students not only learn to play guitar but also to truly enjoy and connect with music. I teach a variety of styles, including classical, jazz, electric, bass, and acoustic guitar, and focus on making lessons both fun and effective.

My teaching style is interactive, student-focused, and adaptable. I believe in clear communication and take the time to understand each student’s unique learning style, so I can tailor lessons to suit their individual needs. I encourage a lot of hands-on practice and provide real-world examples to make learning feel relevant and engaging.

I also introduce innovative methods like ear training, improvisation, and rhythm exercises to help students build a deeper understanding of music theory and playing techniques.
