About Oliver
Hello, my name is Oliver! I am a dedicated and patient tutor who specializes in mathematics, with additional experience in political science, social studies, and criminal justice. I hold a master’s degree in crime analysis, a program that required advanced statistical training, which has strengthened both my mathematical background and my ability to explain complex ideas clearly. What truly drives me as a tutor is helping students gain confidence. I understand what it feels like to struggle with math—when I was younger, it was my least favorite subject. Everything changed when a professor encouraged me and showed me that I was capable of succeeding. That turning point inspired me to not only master the subject but also to help others see that math doesn’t have to be overwhelming. As a tutor, I bring professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm to every lesson. I believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, any student can grow their skills and even enjoy the process of learning. As a tutor, I focus on making math less intimidating and more approachable.
