About Anya
I am a piano tutor with 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition with a Piano Emphasis. I also compose and perform professionally, bringing practical insight and creativity into lessons. Music, I believe, is a lifelong journey.
My teaching focuses on improvisation and spontaneous composition. I help students create original pieces while strengthening technique, theory, and musical expression. I work with beginners learning fundamentals as well as advanced musicians refining their compositional voice.
Lessons combine performance, improvisation, and guided composition exercises. I tailor each session to the student’s goals, building confidence, creativity, and independence. Music is a tool for expression, curiosity, and exploration, and I strive to make every lesson inspiring.
I love helping students find their unique musical voice. Whether composing, improvising, or performing, each student can enjoy a personal, creative, and rewarding journey at the piano.

My teaching approach focuses on making pop piano practical, fun, and creative. Lessons cover playing by ear, chord voicings, pop piano techniques, and arranging contemporary pieces. Students learn songs they love immediately.
