About Lorraine
I have always been passionate about maths and before becoming a teacher I held a number of roles which depended on a good mathematical knowledge. I can support children and young adults on a variety of levels as I hold a degree in Mathematics. I can also help to highlight the applications of mathematics in a wide variety of professions to enable students to appreciate their significance to a number of positions. I have two children myself which I believe to be a significant advantage. I currently tutor a number of disadvantaged students to progress their understanding in the subject as well as making connections in other areas of interest.
I have a DBS certificate in place.

Qualified experienced teacher and tutor of maths. Having taught in a variety of settings; in school, college and within the students home I am able to provide bespoke sessions to suit the student.
