About Amana Jahan
I'm currently studying for an Associate Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the College of New Caledonia (CNC). I've always enjoyed solving math problems and helping others understand them. I'm passionate about making math feel easier and more approachable. I’ve helped friends and classmates with algebra, calculus, and exam prep, and I love seeing that “aha!” moment when they finally get it. I'm reliable, friendly, and patient — and I truly believe every student can succeed in math with the right support.

I adapt each lesson based on the student's level and learning style. My goal is to make math understandable and less stressful.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous material, followed by focused work on the current topic or problem area (homework help, test prep, concept review, etc.). I use visuals, real-world examples, and practice problems to make ideas click.
I teach students from elementary school to first-year university and focus on :

# Strengthening core math skills
Lessons can be online or in person (in Prince George). I also provide feedback and extra practice if requested.
