About Sophia
I have 4 years of experience teaching Computer Programming online and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a U.S. university. I have helped many students with no prior coding background successfully understand programming fundamentals. I received a Beginner Coding Excellence Award for making programming easy to understand for school and college students. I enjoy seeing students gain confidence as they start writing and understanding code independently.

I teach Computer Programming through live one-to-one online lessons for K-12, high school, and college/bachelor’s first-year students. My lessons are ideal for beginners who are learning programming for the first time.
I cover Python, JavaScript, Java, SQL, and introductory Artificial Intelligence concepts, focusing on logic building, problem-solving, and step-by-step understanding. I help students with assignments, coding practice, exams, and basic projects.
I believe coding should feel approachable, not intimidating. During lessons, we practice together, fix errors calmly, and build confidence gradually. I also share simple notes and practice exercises after each class.
