About Rebekah
Hi! My name is Rebekah, and I'm passionate about helping students become confident, capable readers and writers that have a good understanding of the fundamentals of the English language. I have a bachelor's degree from Lancaster Bible College, and have experience in the classroom as a Middle School English teacher, as well as experience in private tutoring.
I tutor a variety of English subjects, including grammar, spelling, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and literature. I also offer test preparation and proofreading services. Whether your child needs extra support with schoolwork or wants to strengthen their skills, I'll tailor lessons to their individual needs and learning style.
I have experience working with students with a variety of learning disabilities and individual needs, including dyslexia and seizure disorders. I strive to create a patient, supportive learning environment where every student feels understood and encouraged. I adapt my teaching approach to help each student learn in a way that works best for them. My goal is to make learning engaging, build confidence, and help every student succeed!

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style. A typical lesson may include reviewing previous concepts, practicing new skills through worksheets and verbal memorization techniques, and applying what we've learned through reading, writing, or interactive exercises. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, build confidence, and help students make meaningful progress at their own pace.

Rebecca taught my children, and I was very pleased with her teaching. She is a wonderful teacher who cares about her students and supports their learning. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an English tutor!
Bekah is a close family friend. She loves children and is so good with them. She never tutored my kids, but she babysat them frequently over the summer and they absolutely love her! Highly recommend!
Bekah is very personable and knowledgeable. She helped my daughter tremendously!
