About Eden

I’m Eden Camille James, a professionally trained actor, director, and acting coach. I hold a BFA in Theater and am a graduate of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting Conservatory (2025), where I completed rigorous, MFA-style training rooted in truthful and imaginative performance.

My training includes work with Bill Bowers, renowned American mime and physical theater artist; Todd Thaler, Emmy-nominated casting director specializing in on-camera technique; and Nick Walker, Broadway performer and musical theater educator.
In addition to my work as an actor, I have experience as a director for youth and educational productions, including work at Tarrytown Music Hall. This background allows me to support actors not only as performers, but as storytellers who understand character, collaboration, and process.

I’m passionate about helping actors of all ages find confidence in themselves, deepen their craft, and develop an acting style that feels authentic and sustainable.

About My Lessons

My acting lessons are personalized, supportive, and technique-driven, designed to meet each student exactly where they are. I work with all ages and experience levels, from beginners building confidence to advanced actors preparing for auditions, scenes, or performances.

Lessons focus on developing truthful, grounded acting while helping students discover their own unique style rather than imitating others. Depending on the student’s goals, sessions may include scene study, monologue work, audition preparation, acting through song, physical storytelling, and on-camera technique.

I am trained in both theatre and on-camera acting, and I incorporate tools from classical technique alongside niche physical styles such as mime and clowning to help actors unlock creativity, presence, and emotional clarity. My teaching style is structured but playful, encouraging discipline, imagination, and confidence in equal measure.

Whether a student is acting for the first time or refining their craft, my goal is to help them feel confident, expressive, and connected in their work.
