About Elizabeth
I am a contemporary visual artist with experience in painting, drawing, installation, stained glass, and concept-based art practice. My work explores perception, gaze, rhythm, memory, and the many ways images can create meaning.
In my lessons, I help students build strong artistic foundations while also developing their own visual language. Whether you are a beginner, a hobby learner, a portfolio student, or someone who wants to think more deeply about art, I will guide you with a personalized and supportive approach.
I have a Master’s degree from Korea University Graduate School of Education and professional experience in stained glass work. I have participated in various exhibitions in Korea and abroad, including exhibitions at the Korean Cultural Center in Washington D.C., Gallery Maejeum, Gallery Grida, R3028 White Cube, Nonbat Gallery, Seoul Arts Center, and Sejong Center for the Arts. I have also participated in residency programs such as Suncheon Creative Art Village and the Euljiro Design Art Project.

Each lesson can be adapted depending on the student’s needs. A typical lesson may include:
1. Warm-up observation or drawing practice
We begin with simple exercises to train the eye, hand, and visual sensitivity.
2. Technique-focused study
Students work on line, shape, proportion, color, composition, texture, or materials depending on their level.
3. Creative project development
We build a personal project based on the student’s interests, such as memory, objects, space, emotion, music, movement, or visual storytelling.
4. Artwork review and feedback
I give clear, constructive feedback on what is working, what can be improved, and how to develop the work further.
5. Artistic thinking and portfolio direction
For advanced students, we discuss concept, artist statement, portfolio structure, and how to make the work feel more personal and complete.
