About Lani
Hello! I’m a passionate guitar tutor with over 12 years of experience, dedicated to helping high school and college students discover their musical talents. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching around 250 students, guiding them from beginners to confident players. My love for education drives me to create a supportive and inspiring environment where every student feels encouraged to express themselves.
One of my proudest milestones was organizing a student showcase, where my students performed for their families and friends. Seeing their hard work pay off and the joy on their faces was truly rewarding. I believe that music is a powerful form of expression, and I strive to instill a love for guitar in all my students.
My teaching style focuses on flexibility and creativity, allowing each student to explore their unique musical journey. Whether you’re interested in classical, jazz, or modern styles, I tailor my lessons to fit your goals. I’m excited to help you unlock your potential and develop a lifelong passion for music! Let’s make learning guitar an enjoyable experience together.

My guitar teaching approach is designed to be flexible and engaging, catering to each student’s unique learning style and goals. I believe in collaboration, encouraging students to express their ideas and preferences in music. This creates a supportive environment where we learn together.
I use real-life examples and case studies to make lessons relatable. By exploring songs and techniques that inspire my students, we connect theory to practice. This not only enhances their skills but also fosters a deeper love for music.
Integrity is at the core of my teaching. I promote honest feedback and a respectful learning atmosphere. Students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes, which is vital for growth.
Creativity is essential in learning guitar. I incorporate various musical styles and improvisation exercises, allowing students to explore their artistic side. Whether you are a beginner or advanced player, I adapt lessons to meet your interests, helping you develop a well-rounded skill set.
Additionally, I can teach subjects related to music theory, composition, and performance, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience. Together, we will embark on a musical journey tailored to your needs!
