About Mahi
Hello, "You CAN ace any subject" Yes because, even if you don't like the subject, by cracking the algorithm of general questions and simplifying the facts you can do well in the exam but again if you really love the subject I'm still there for you to help you with your dream score. My name is Mahi Ahsan, I have been in the field of tutoring for the last 2 years. I used to hate chemistry until I was studying for my own GCSE when only 2 months were left. After long hours of reading the chapters and the previous years' questions, I had finally started to enjoy it. When I did more research about the topics and watched videos, I finally loved the subject and scored good marks in my GCSE. I personally prefer notes and chapter mind maps to study. I used to study like that and still do and also solve the questions from previous years. I pay close attention to each topic to make sure that the students understand the exact required thing. Each session will consist of a pre-made PowerPoint presentation, videos (if required) and some notes. Afterwards, as practice is very important, we will focus on practising the exam techniques, the bullet points and some pop-up quizzes. Looking forward to you...

I usually try to teach the students through key points after a detailed explanation and provide a topic mind map note so that they can revise easily. I have been tutoring Chemistry and Biology for the last two years now. Generally, I do a two-hour long session because in the last half an hour I take a quick memory test as a reminder of the topics. My lessons are for the students of year 7 to GCSE levels.
