About Andrew
As a calm and approachable tutor, I specialize in breaking topics down step by step to help students pinpoint exactly where they're getting stuck. I’ve spent the last five years supporting fellow university and high school students in chemistry, both informally and as a formally hired tutor for pre-med students at my university. Some of these students were later accepted into medical school, and I continue to take pride in making complex topics like general chemistry, biochemistry, and organic chemistry clear, engaging, and easier to understand. My goal is to make learning not only effective but enjoyable. I bring study techniques that have helped me succeed in my undergraduate courses and share them in a way that students can easily apply them. I’m also passionate about mentoring students through academic choices and future career planning, especially in health and science fields. I take my role seriously. I’m committed, reliable, and always come prepared, especially when I’m given topics to review in advance.

I specialize in helping high school, university, and struggling students build confidence in chemistry through a calm, step-by-step, and practice-based approach. I typically start with problem-solving to identify gaps, then teach concepts clearly and build up to exam-style questions.
My students often struggle with overthinking, so I simplify ideas and offer proven study tips to help them stay on track. I’ve tutored pre-med students now in med school and earned A+ grades in Organic Chemistry I, Biochemistry I, and General Chemistry I & II.
I tailor my teaching to each student’s pace and prefer to teach in English, but I can incorporate Arabic if needed. If possible, I ask students to send topics a week in advance so I can tailor each session to their needs.
