About Siqi
I am an international student from China with a strong academic background in Chemistry and Materials Science. I developed a strong interest in Chemistry during secondary school and later completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
After graduation, I moved to Australia to continue my studies and completed a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering. I am currently completing a PhD in Materials Science, with experience in Chemistry, materials science, crystallography, and materials characterization.
During my Bachelor's degree, I also gained one year of tutoring experience teaching Chemistry to secondary school students. My academic and research background allows me to explain scientific concepts from both theoretical and practical perspectives, and I aim to help students build confidence and develop a clear understanding of the subject.

My tutoring starts with underlying concepts and followed by practice and problem-solving, rather than simply memorizing formulas or answers. A typical lesson starts with 20 min concept explanation and 40 min Q&A, worked examples and practice problems.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, and I am currently completing a PhD in Materials Science. During my bachelor's degree, I also gained one year experience in teaching Chemistry to secondary school students.
My lessons are suitable for secondary and high school students, undergraduate students, and anyone who would like additional support in Chemistry, introductory Materials Science, or related subjects.
