About Maria
I have extensive experience supervising undergraduate and post graduate students as well as assisting them to complete their final theses. I have experience in classroom/amphitheater teaching and laboratory supervision. Importantly, before relocating for my phD studies, I worked in my home country as a private tutor of chemistry and biology to high school students for more than 7 years, successfully preparing them for the university admission examinations.

I am a phD candidate in genetics ( Erasmus MC,Rotterdam, the Netherlands). My area of research focuses on understanding the effects of genomic damage and aging on stem cell function. I can teach Biology to students of all levels, including undergraduate students that may need some assistance with biochemistry/cell/molecular biology/genetics/biochemistry and related courses and assignments. As I am currently finalising my studies I am available only through Skype - or equivalent communication media. I am very flexible timewise and I can be available also during weekends.
