About Sharmistha
Teaching-learning is a team work. I engage with students using interactive teaching methods. I always received excellent students' feedback on my teaching methodologies.
My teaching experience in an Engineering college provided me the opportunity to assess knowledge gaps in students when they pursue higher studies. Accordingly, I have devised my structure of teaching to fill up those gaps from the beginning.

I have been teaching Engg. students in my workplace and also have experience of teaching my sons from class 10, who are now at IIT,KGP and St. Xavier's College respectively.
I prefer one to one interaction with the students on weekly basis, and do not want my batch size to go beyond 20 students, preferably 10.
Assessing progress of the students through regular quizzes, developing problem solving skills and providing orientation for self learning to students are my key strengths.
