About Jordan

I'm Jordan, a PhD graduate in Computational Physics with a passion for teaching. I have years of experience tutoring physics, mathematics, and programming at the university level. I enjoy helping students grasp complex concepts and develop strong problem solving skills. My goal is to make learning engaging and tailored to each student's individual needs. Whether you're aiming to improve grades or deepen your understanding, I'm here to guide you through the process with patience and clarity.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is centered on understanding each student's unique learning style and needs. I believe in building a strong foundation in core concepts before tackling more complex topics. I focus on making difficult subjects like physics, mathematics, and programming accessible by breaking them down into manageable steps, using real-world examples to relate abstract concepts to practical applications.

With my background in computational physics and years of experience in both teaching (from year 9 to 3rd year undergraduate physics) and research, I emphasise problem-solving and critical thinking. My sessions are interactive, where I encourage students to ask questions and engage in discussions, ensuring they not only understand the material but also gain confidence in their abilities.

Whether you're preparing for exams, needing help with assignments, or looking to deepen your understanding of the subject, I tailor my lessons to your goals, providing personalised support to help you succeed.
