About Zara
I am a PhD in English that has taught college courses, tutored all ages from middle school to other grad students and coached students in debate for over 8 years. I have a masters of science in disability studies, so I am especially able to work with students of any learning disability profile. I am a professional and courteous 33 year old early career educator additionally.

My lessons will help you practice key writing, reading and language use skills. I can help with vocabulary, reading comprehension as well as writing projects. If you need facilitated practice or feedback, I'm here. During facilitated practice, I will give you drills and help you practice important skills. During feedback, you can show me your work and I can critique you and then offer useful ways of improving. These two types of lessons are the basis for my tutoring. Facilitated practice is aimed at younger students and feedback lessons are aimed at adults who are more self directed. I can tutor students of any age but the type of lesson will have to differ.
