About Abhishek

I am currently a PhD student in Biological Sciences at the University of Reading. I have been tutoring Biology since 2013. I completed my MSc in Biotechnology in 2017 in India, graduating as the second rank holder in the university and receiving a silver medal. After my MSc, I worked as a Research Assistant for two years, and then joined a college as a Lecturer, where I taught undergraduate students various modules such as Molecular and Cellular Biology, Immunology, Genetics, and Biotechnology. In 2023, I began my PhD journey in the UK. Teaching has always been one of my greatest passions. I enjoy explaining the intricate concepts of Biology through examples and storytelling, making the subject more interesting and relatable. My aim is to spark curiosity while helping students successfully complete their modules.

Hello! I am Abhi. I’m a current PhD fellow in Biological Sciences at the University of Reading, where I also work as a part-time student demonstrator. I’m deeply interested in both knowing and teaching Biology—sharing my passion for the subject is at the heart of what I do.
