About Gaddam
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, and I have a doctorate degree in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. I am very passionate about learning, teaching, and doing Mathematics. I feel that the best way to teach any subject is not to teach but to learn with the student. Let them identify what has inspired me to pursue this subject, make them surprised by guiding them to see the mysteries and beauty behind the formulae. This teaches the student how to be an independent learner. This is what separates me from just teaching Mathematics to enjoying mathematics. In the end, I want to make sure that my students love mathematics as I do.

My methodology is a simple 3 steps:
Step 1: Understand the student's ability by conducting an MCQ test for the first 5minutes of the session,
Step 2: Know the interests of the students outside the classroom like movies, sports, politics etc,
Step 3: Apply his interests and teach the subjects to make him realise how actually maths is connected to his interests too.
I found that this approach very fruitful in making the student understand the true beauty of Mathematics
