About Rina

Hello! My name is Rina, a PhD Physics Graduate, and I'm excited to share my passion for physics as a private tutor.

I believe that physics is not only fascinating but also essential in understanding the world around us. My goal as a tutor is to instil this same enthusiasm in my students, helping them build a solid foundation of knowledge and develop critical thinking skills.

Throughout my academic career, I have had the privilege of working on groundbreaking research projects and collaborating with renowned scientists. This exposure has given me a strong grasp of the core concepts in physics, allowing me to simplify complex topics and present them in an engaging manner.

Whether you're struggling with calculus, need help with exam preparation, or want to explore the intricacies of quantum mechanics, I am here to guide you every step of the way. I believe that learning should be enjoyable and rewarding, and I'm dedicated to helping my students achieve their goals with confidence.

If you're ready to embark on an exciting educational journey, don't hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to meeting you and working together to unlock your full potential in physics!

Techniques and Teaching Methodology:
My teaching approach revolves around creating an interactive and student-centred learning environment. I believe in fostering a deep understanding of the subject matter by engaging students in active discussions, problem-solving exercises, and real-life applications. I encourage critical thinking, promote analytical skills, and provide practical examples to enhance comprehension and retention.

Typical Length of a Lesson:
Each lesson typically lasts for 60 minutes. This duration allows sufficient time for instruction, practice, and addressing any questions or concerns that may arise. However, I am flexible and can adjust the lesson length based on individual student needs and preferences.

Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor:
I hold a PhD in Physics and have over 10 years of experience as a private tutor. Additionally, I have worked as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant at UCL for 5 years, where I gained valuable experience in delivering lectures, facilitating discussions, and providing guidance to undergraduate students. My diverse experience has equipped me with the ability to adapt to various learning styles and effectively communicate complex concepts.

Who Are My Lessons For:
My lessons are suitable for students of different levels and age groups. I offer lessons for high school students preparing for exams such as GCSEs or A-levels. I also provide tutoring for undergraduate students who require assistance in these subjects.

I am committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable and confident in their abilities. I believe in building strong relationships with my students, understanding their unique needs, and tailoring my teaching methods accordingly.

Whether you are a high school student seeking to improve your understanding of physics or an adult learner who has always wanted to learn about Quantum Physics, I am here to guide you every step of the way. Together, we will work towards achieving your goals and unlocking your full potential.
