About Simon
I have an eclectic background, studying BSc Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychology at the University of Manchester, MSc Forensic Psychology at Goldsmiths College, University of London, and PhD in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Westminster. I believe education is key to developing as a person and ensure students have their best chance of achieving their goals and potential, regardless of background. Lessons will be tailored to your needs and we will work together to help you learn what's in the textbook and beyond.

I am an associate fellow of the higher education association, having completed a postgraduate certification in teaching. I keep my lessons accessible by combining theory with relevant and contemporary examples from the world around us, which underscores the applied nature of the social sciences. I am happy to conduct sessions in person or online for students interested in the social sciences, particularly psychology and criminology, with some knowledge of sociology and philosophy of science.
Students from all backgrounds welcome with a focus on those at A-level and above.
