As a tutor, I aim to make biology both accessible and inspiring by helping students understand the underlying logic of living systems—not just memorize facts. I focus on building a strong conceptual foundation, using visual explanations, real-world examples, and active discussion to reinforce each topic.
In a typical session, we start by reviewing what the student already knows, then work together to clarify key concepts using targeted examples and analogies. I guide students through practice questions and help them learn how to approach problems systematically—whether it’s analyzing data, interpreting experimental setups, or writing scientifically accurate explanations.
What sets me apart is my background: I’m Zac, a Ph.D.-trained stem cell biologist with experience in academic and biotech research. I’ve mentored students at multiple levels and understand how to connect textbook biology to real-world research and medical applications.
