About Alexandra
I’m a PhD student in biomedical engineering, and I have a masters in the same field where I focused my work on machine learning and AI. I decided that I wanted to pursue higher education because I want to teach, and I’ve already done so for 3 years. I have taught Engineering Statics and Dynamics at my undergrad institution for two semesters, and I’ve TA’d in several classes ranging from calculus courses to circuits and mechatronics. I’ve also been a private tutor for 5+ years.

My lessons are entirely flexible based on what you need from me. I’ve taught lessons lecture style before for students who may have missed a class, and I’ve worked through practice problems that are closely tied to the individual students’ interests to help generate interest in the topic. I am super flexible about HOW it’s done, but I’ll make sure the concept comes across in a digestible and memorable way :)
