About Luke
I am a current PhD student in Political Science at the University of Alberta. I have been writing essays, book reviews, and journal articles for over 10 years. I have a vast amount of teaching and tutorial experience -- working with students from Kindergarten all the way to the Masters level. I have earned multiple teaching awards during my time at University in recognition of my work. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your goals!

Writing is a craft. It takes patience, hard work, and persistence. But anybody can be a great writer. As your tutor I will work with you on your particular project or assignment to help you articulate your ideas more effectively and coherently. I firmly believe that practice makes perfect, meaning I put lots of emphasis on writing lots and often. I provide lots of feedback on your work but I am also deeply committed to helping you find your own voice and your own writing style. I want you to feel confident in what you are doing and proud in what you have accomplished. You have brilliant ideas to share with the world; help me to help you share them with others!
I am available to tutor in-person if you live in the Edmonton area and online if you live elsewhere.
