About Ellie
My qualifications include a BA Criminal Justice (Liverpool John Moores University) graded First Class with Honours and a Masters in Criminology & Criminal Justice (Keele University). I am currently a PhD student in Politics & International Relations. I have been teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in criminology, education and social work (research methods modules).

My favourite level to teach is first/second year undergraduate, but I am happy to help tutor those who are above and below this level. I have experience in lecturing, small group teaching and individual 1-to-1 support. I like to build a relationship with students and take the time to figure out what approach is best for them. I undertake a variety of methods with my teaching and can appreciate that everyone has different learning styles.

My rates will rarely vary dependant on the student's needs, but this will be made clear to the student after the free taster session and prior to agreeing to more lessons. Cancellations are free any time up until 24 hours prior to the agreed session time - after this, there will be a £10 (per 1 hour lesson) fee.
