About Austin
After my undergraduate degree in Linguistics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and the University College London, I did two postgraduate degrees in theology at Gordon-Conwell near Boston. During my four years of postgraduate coursework, I received the annual department award and Gordon-Conwell's annual award for excellence in writing. My family and I moved to the UK in 2021 to begin my PhD at the University of St Andrews where I now do research in philosophy and theology on metaphor theory.

We will work together to critically examine and analyze a relevant primary-source text at the level appropriate to the student. Lessons would average 45 minutes.
I lead a tutorial for the 2nd-year Philosophical Theology module and have taught numerous extra-curricular courses in religious education.
These lessons would be primarily geared toward secondary and university-level students.
