About Alicia
I am a PhD student at the University of Nottingham, researching how the nature of consciousness can be ameliorated and refined by studying the disorderly mind. My interests mainly lie in the philosophy of mind, philosophy of psychology, social philosophy, and metaphysics, but I am more than happy to teach any area of philosophy at any level. In the future, I would love to be a professor of philosophy, so I am really excited to tutor and share my passion for philosophy with you! Here is a summary of my achievements: - I achieved a first-class certification in my Philosophy BA - I achieved a merit classification in my Philosophy MA - I Achieved AAB in my A-levels (including an A in Philosophy)

In addition to delivering the syllabus material, my lessons shall capture the interest and imagination of each student. As a student currently going through the ADHD diagnostic process, I have learnt the value of being taught in ways that deviate from the paradigm teaching model. For example, to completely absorb course material, I benefit from reading it aloud and pretending to educate my audience. Thus, before the first tutoring session, I will offer you a consultation so that we can discuss your specific requirements and interests in order to make the most of your tailored tutoring sessions. I am happy to tutor anyone, including those with neurodivergent and specific needs.

Definitely Alicia!!!
I was interested in Existentialism and needed a good specialist to dive into it. One friend of mine recommended me Alicia. Right after the first lesson I found out that she is an amazing tutor with such a bright personality! She built study program exactly how I wanted and engage me fully in process. She forced me to think a lot XD and look at the usual things on the different edge. It was incredible! We had so much fun studying Camus, Ortega, Nietzsche (my favourite one!!!) etc. Now, I am thinking about starting a new course with her dedicated to post-structuralism, and I am really looking forward to it ;)
Having been taught philosophy by Alicia, I can confidently state that you won't find a teacher who can help you navigate and comprehend the notions and concepts of philosophy while also understanding your needs and requirements.
