About Robert
As former managing editor of a multi-award-winning 129-year old weekly newspaper, current studio owner and multi-award winner, my love of everything photo, especially teaching, permeates everything I do. I am especially proud of how well-versed I am in the different areas of the industry, including business aspects. I currently write for a major camera tech news website, own my own and can't even recall all the awards and recognitions I have earned, and am obsessed with the idea of helping and teaching fellow creatives. I'm swinging for the fence here, and really just asking you to try me out, because I am your friendly neighborhood deliveryman.

My entire method of teaching is to analyze the individual needs of my students and apply the many years of experience, success and awards in my field to help you get past the things that challenge you. My stubborn unwillingness to specialize into a genre niche in my younger years has allowed me to hone my skills in nearly every photo genre that exists, and that, combined with a technical mind, love of teaching and good nature has allowed me to thus far never find myself in a scenario where I don't have an immense amount to teach in a laid back yet efficient manner. MY approach to teaching us such that I can reach and educate even those who feel as if further progress is hopeless due to learning disabilities or lack of technical proficiency. Try me, you will NOT be disappointed and I have never felt so sure about a statement in my life.
