About Jeremy
I have degrees from McGill University in Physics, Atmospheric Sciences, and Geophysics. Though fascinated by these subjects, physics and math did not come easily to me in my early years of school. I found that am a skilled educator, and that I absolutely love to help students and peers understand these complex topics so that they too can appreciate and engage with them, in addition to succeeding in school. Throughout and after my studies, I have taken on over 50 private tutoring students and worked as a teaching assistant for four university and graduate school courses.

I am an experienced and highly personable teacher who is adept at quickly identifying areas of misunderstanding in complex physics and math concepts and presenting them in alternative, approachable ways. Introductory physics often requires students to approach problems in unfamiliar ways, which is often not articulated or taught sufficiently in the classroom. I teach students from the ground up how to "translate" physical systems into the language of math, and give them the skillset to tackle entirely new problems with confidence.
