About Mac
I have tutored a wide range of ages and skill levels, all the way from K-12. I am patient, and have the ability to break down extremely complex topics in a way that clearly elucidates their practical use. By engaging students in this manner, I turn the process of learning from a chore into an enjoyable rewarding task. My extensive knowledge of history, music, and psychology also allow me to engage students who do not have a strong background or foundation in STEM.

-Too often in Science are people simply taught by following an a lead example. Often the conceptual required knowledge for success in the subject is hard to grasp, abstract, and undefined. I excel by having the students lead the sessions, identifying specific strengths and weaknesses. After this, I am able to fill in necessary gaps with a good ability to break down complex concepts into every day practical understanding. My lessons would be designed for anybody in an intro to STEM course, particularly in my major, Physics.
