About Lois
I am a graduate from the University of Exeter with a first class MPhys. I am currently in my final year of a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Manchester with 3 years of experience as a teaching assistant in the department. I additionally have 4 years of experience as a Manchester Access Programme tutor, working with 17 year olds from local colleges to write academic essays in physics. All my students successfully passed the course.

I am willing to give lessons in both mathematics and physics up to and including A-Level. I find the best way to approach these subjects is firstly by teaching theory with the aim being to gain a deep understanding of the subject. Subsequently, practice problems will solidify the knowledge.

Perfect! Today my daughter had her first “trial”session with Louis and even just after an hour she feel so much more confident with the topics she had originally felt unsure on,she came down smiling(over maths) which was unusual my daughter said her way of teaching is very easy too understand, as well as this she said during the session she was encouraged and listed too.Louis was clearly able to explain and demonstrate ways to solve tricky problems easily very happy I found Lois on this platform! Truly recommend her as a excellent tutor
