About Owen
I graduated with a Master's degree in medical physics in the fall and am an experienced instructor. I have worked as an exam prep instructor, TA at several universities and a tutor in physics, mathematics and statistics. I worked with the Learning Assistance Program at the University of Victoria and as such I excel at teaching at different skill levels and abilities. I am excited to share my knowledge and work with students.

Throughout my teaching, I aspire to teach using many styles to reach many different learning abilities. I am a big fan of hands on applications of concepts in every day life along with using practice problems to demonstrate the concepts. As a scientist, communicating science is one of the most difficult parts of the discipline. I strive to make difficult concepts achievable and understandable for all and I am constantly looking to improve my teaching methods.
