About Rohan
I have developed a revolutionary, outcome-oriented model for mastering the piano called LEAP (Learn, Enjoy, Accelerate, and Perform). This approach is based on feedback from over 200 global students who have been learning with me and is designed to align with each learner's pace and expectations.
The sessions are divided into four key sections:
Theory: In this section, I focus on the fundamentals of Western staff notation, laying a solid foundation for your musical journey.
Scales and Chords: Here, I guide you through an in-depth study of the structure of major, minor (natural, melodic, and harmonic), and pentatonic scales. We also explore chord variations, voicings, and progressions, all aligned with the Trinity Graded Examination curriculum.
Finger Lessons: I provide training to improve finger dexterity and coordination using exercises from Hanon, Czerny, and Baron lessons.
Recital: Together, we explore a wide range of recitals, including Western classical, contemporary, jazz, and Bollywood music.
Additionally, I introduce learners to sight reading, improvisation, aural skills, and more to ensure a well-rounded musical development.
The sessions are conducted using professional streaming infrastructure, leveraging music technology to bridge the gap between online and in-person learning experiences.
