About Charlie
Hi! My name is Charlie and I am a Political Science graduate from the University of Birmingham, a top university for politics. I studied subjects from across the political sphere, and I finished my degree with first class honours. Prior to beginning at Birmingham, I studied Politics at A-level.
After a year working for a leading Westminster-adjacent political advisory firm in West London, I have recommenced my political studies by starting a Masters degree in National Security Studies at King's College London.
I have a passion for politics and a deep understanding of the syllabus, but I remember how daunting and challenging of a subject it can be at first. I want to help others achieve the best politics grade they can by using my experience and passion for the subject to help them find the best approach for them, in the same way I was able to at A-level.
My other relevant experience includes: work in my local MPs constituency office, and work at a residential academic summer camp at Oxford university.

My lessons will be entirely bespoke, shaped all around your needs and your preferred methods of learning, and do not have a fixed 'format' as such. The dynamic of all of my lessons is not one of teacher and student, but instead is more collaborative. We will work together to find out what it is that will help you better understand the aspects of politics you are struggling with. Whether it is complex terminology, institutional process, political philosophy, or simply just essay technique, the first step is to work out how you learn best. For you to learn from me, I need to learn about you!
Lessons will last an hour on average, although shorter or longer sessions will be available if needed
