About Milayne
My method is based on developing Thinking, Understanding and Communication skills. I belive the effective learning comes with a real understanding of some subject, and we understand something when we think and make our thinking visible, expressing ourselves, sharing opinions. So, the format I apply the communicative approach in my classes is based on routines and activities that support students' thinking. At last, but not least, I will create a learning plan respecting your main learning channels and your goals! My methodology is based on our ability to think, understand and communicate! After all, the learning process, when done effectively, makes any subject understandable and helps one to express himself/herlself effectively, clearly and calmly. During our classes, I will develop learning plans based on your main learning channels, your goals, and also on thinking routines that help us in the process of building our own thinking and, consequently, learning.

Hello, I'm Milayne and I would like to help you learn my native language, which is Brasilian Portuguese (Or, help you learn and practice English - I'ma C1 level at CAE)! I am graduated in Journalism, Languages and Arts, Pedagogy and Teaching Methodologies for Portuguese and English learners. I have already worked with kids, teenagers and adults, that means, we can set up a family plan for you, for example! Even though I've already had a vast working experience, for the last seven years of my professional life, I have been working and gaining substacial achievements as a bilingual teacher, in a Dual Language Education Program.
