About Chantelle
In previous years I have help and tutored many of my peers in a range of subjects, one being English language & literature. At the age of 15 I wrote and published a book which showcased my creative writing skills. I have always loved reading and writing books since I could remember, favouring old stories from Shakespeare to beloved trilogies such as Harry Potter. Teaching how to read and write will be a pleasure and I want my students to enjoy the lessons I will have with them.

My teaching approach can be described as very creative yet academically stimulating. My aim is to keep students interested in my session by making them fun through quizzes or rhymes that you'll get stuck in your head. Furthermore, I believe that repetition is key and a way to remember something we had learned. So, before going onto the next topic, we would do a quiz I created to test their understanding or I would give a scenario based on the content we had learned. Teaching needs to be interactive not a lecture and by interacting with my students, we both will favour from the lessons. Also, I like to personalise my sessions to each student as I feel that this is very important to keep my students engaged and enjoy the lessons.
