About Melissa
I studied Translation and Interpreting in German, English and French in Germany and I am currently living in Glasgow, doing my postgraduate in International Business Management. I have been self-employed in tutoring to subsist and support myself financially. I have worked an lived in different areas in the UK over the last 5 years - mostly swapping between a residency in the UK and Germany. I like to be socially active and therefore, I committed myself to a Voluntary Social Year a few years back. Furthermore, I helped out in a refugee camp teaching languages and organizing events.

I am born German, but have lived in the UK on and off for a long time. I am 24 years old and have substantial experience in the field as a teacher. I offer lessons to everybody of all ages and classes, ranging from illiterate people to A1 and soon-to-be mothertongues. Because of my work experience in the field I can offer you a broad range of exercises and learning styles. In the first lessons, I will try and outline a learning journal which will be executed afterwards during the teaching lessons. That helps to create transparency and helps to shed light on possible problem areas.

Details
I can also do 2 hours which is 25 Pounds. I don't travel more than 10 km and it has to be accessible by public transport. As I live in the city centre and I am very close to my uni, we can always also meet there. If you cannot come, please state so at least a few hours in advance. Last-minute cancellations without good cause are not accepted. Then, the lesson will be moved to a later date and has to be paid.
