About Lara
I graduated in Biology and I have a master's degree in Oceanography. I have extensive experience with English language services such as conversation classes, translation and proofreading, and preparation for proficiency tests. I have 7.5 grade in IELTS (2017), and 95 in TOEFL (2013). I lived in England, where I became fluent in English, and since then I have been practicing English language and offering services in this area.

The main material I use in my classes is certified by the British Council, in which I am always researching about teaching techniques. Classes can be face-to-face (if we live in the same city) or virtual (via Skype, FaceTime or similar). The activities focus on expanding vocabulary and developing fluency in the language. In the case of preparation for proficiency tests, activities may be based on simulations to familiarize the student with the test format. I also use audiovisual resources such as podcasts and series to encourage students to practice using the language outside of class time.
