About Caroline

Hello! I'm an upbeat artist who studied Photography and Fine Art at Pratt Institute and graduated in 2022. I'm excited to help students develop their foundational skills and encourage them to let go, relax, and create what makes them happy. I specialize in life/figure drawing, fashion illustration, and portraiture in all mediums + mixed-media art such as collaging and painting. here's my work! (concealed information)

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on hands-on learning and real-time feedback to foster a dynamic and supportive environment. After demonstrating techniques, I work alongside students, answering questions and guiding them as they explore their creativity. I believe that understanding their feelings and goals is essential to our sessions.

In addition to art lessons, I offer portfolio reviews for middle, high school, and college students. During these sessions, we review their current work, create a tailored plan for improvement, and discuss strategies to curate and enhance their portfolios to align with each school’s requirements.

Whether students are just starting out or developing a serious portfolio, I provide a safe space to express themselves, discover new skills, and enjoy the art-making process.

Perfect! Caroline took the time to organize some prep for our 9yr old daughter and make sure she would have everything she needed. Our daughter really enjoyed her first lesson and it was nice to see her produce something new artistically and implement so of the new things she had learned after the class.
