About Alexxa
I am a graduate of Loy Norrix High School in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I began my mathematics journey in the Academically Talented Youth Program (ATYP) through Western Michigan University where I took Algebra I & II in my 7th-grade year and Geometry and Pre-Calculus in my 8th-grade year. Throughout my high school career, I have taken 9 AP Classes, some of which have included AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC. I finished top 20 of my class, making the dean's list with a 4.2 GPA.

I utilize Google Classroom as well as online virtual learning sessions where I will teach a lesson, walk through examples, and go on to guided independent work. My lessons are targeted toward middle school to high school students who are in classes from Pre-Algebra to Statistics to Pre-Calculus.
Lessons will generally begin with a discussion of the troublesome material. After addressing this concern, I will begin to explain the material in a visual form using screen share feature offered through Google Meet. Then, I will give a set of challenge problems to the student and help them walk through these problems.
