My focus is in tutoring Grade 9-10 students in:

My lessons are organized, creative, and suited to each student’s goals and learning style. We begin by identifying strengths, challenges, and upcoming assessments. From there, sessions focus on: • Fragmenting complex topic into more transparent and digestible steps • Thorough analysis of different styles of practice and exam-level questions i.e. multiple choice to test for understanding • Reviewing foundational math and science skills using mnemonics and songs. • Step-by-step essay writing (brainstorming flow charts and emphasis of following a theme) • Study strategies to improve performance and confidence My aim is not only to improve grades, but to construct a lifelong independent learning skills and long-term academic confidence.
