About Lisa
I am a committed flute tutor with 17 years of experience teaching students from different backgrounds. I work with school students, college students, and working professionals, helping them build strong musical skills while enjoying every stage of learning.
My lessons are based on motivation, communication, creativity, and personalized instruction. I understand that every student has unique strengths, so I design lessons that encourage steady progress and self-confidence. My teaching style is simple, supportive, and student-focused.
Besides flute, I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm practice, breathing techniques, beginner keyboard, sight reading, performance preparation, and music appreciation. These related subjects help students become confident and knowledgeable musicians.
I pay close attention to tone quality, finger coordination, breathing, posture, rhythm, and musical expression. Students receive practical exercises and helpful feedback after every lesson to improve consistently. My goal is to help learners enjoy music while achieving their personal and academic goals.

I believe that every flute student learns best when lessons are encouraging, organized, and enjoyable. My teaching methodology is built on Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I work closely with students to create a positive learning environment where they can develop confidence, discipline, and musical expression at their own pace.
Each lesson begins with breathing exercises, posture correction, embouchure, finger positioning, and tone production. Once students are comfortable with these basics, they progress to scales, rhythm practice, note reading, articulation, dynamics, phrasing, and performance techniques. Every lesson includes practical exercises that improve both technical accuracy and musical confidence.
Communication allows me to explain every concept clearly while encouraging students to ask questions without hesitation. Accountability helps students build regular practice habits, stay committed to their learning goals, and celebrate steady progress. Integrity guides my teaching with honesty, patience, fairness, and genuine respect for every learner.
Besides flute, I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Staff Notation, Sight Reading, Rhythm Development, Breath Control, Instrument Care, Music Appreciation, Performance Skills, and Practice Planning. These supporting subjects help students gain a complete understanding of music and improve their overall performance.
My goal is to help students become confident, disciplined, and expressive flute players who continue enjoying music throughout their lives.
