About Maria De Fatima

I’m a passionate teacher who has been tutoring for years on and off (6 years). I have worked in classrooms for years and have a genuine passion for teaching. It brings me joy. I am very gentle and kind when teaching.

The approach I take is backed by research (teaching walkthrus). I start by modelling the skill until the child shows understanding. Then we practise together so I can address any questions or misconceptions. Lastly, the child attempts the skill with minimal guidance. This is to see what we may still need to work on or if the child can successfully do the skill.
