About Alana
I am a first-time kindergarten teacher seeking extra experience teaching literacy to students of all ages. I have completed my Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Education (BEd) and Master of Education degrees - all of which have helped me learn, grow and develop into the educator I am today. Though I have learned so much through my schooling, I wish to continue to learn and discover as I delve into this rich profession.

As a new teacher, I bring about new and innovative techniques to help with student engagement and retention. My lessons are embedded with movement to help students focus and see learning as something fun and enjoyable. As reading and writing are integral to student success in all levels of education, I think its very important all students get the opportunity to learn these skills in different ways, with different teaching styles. I hope to bring a new perspective to your students' understanding of reading and writing.
