About Kellie
I will run my sessions in a fun way and tailor sessions to pupils’ needs and consider all different types of learning styles, to ensure students get the most out of each session. My favourite way of teaching is through fun and engaging games! I will begin the first session by understanding exactly what the areas each student wishes to develop, and working out a plan to how this can be achieved during the sessions. This will include understanding the students specific needs, and if there are ways in which the student prefers to learn. This way, I am able to tailor my teaching to best suit the needs of the individual. I will also ensure that no sessions are the same or duplicates, and will be specifically changed to meet the needs of the student.

I am currently a head of school at a primary school in Nottingham, looking to support students outside of the school environment, with any primary level subjects to enhance their experience at school. I have been teaching for over 12 years, and have experience in teaching Key Stage 2, Year 6 and delivering support to develop understanding of phonics. I also have an excellent understanding of KS2 SATs and have also previously tutored phonics sessions for Year 1 pupils.
