About Fiona
I have a teaching degree in Primary Education. For the last 20 years I have been a private tutor. I have focussed mainly on 11+ tuition and have had great success in getting my students through the exam. To date I have had over 100 students. I have four children who have become successful adults in their work and home life.

I believe that a child has to gain confidence in their learning before they can progress. Often a child believes he is a poor maths scholar but often it is a case of finding the weak spot (going back to basics) and then re-building in a way that the child understands. He has to want to take ownership of his learning, in gaining confidence he will often succeed.
