Private Math Tutor with 20 years experience and a Bachelor's degree in math. In-person in Tallahassee, FL and online.

Susan was such a great help to me. She was very patient and thorough with me. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of math help. She tutored me in Business Calc at FSU but know she is skilled in other maths as well. 10/10 Highly recommended!!

Ms. Perkins makes good use of our time for tutoring. She makes sure I understand the material and answers any of my questions thoroughly.

Ms.Susan is very patient and encouraging! I have completed 2 semesters with her and couldn’t imagine working with someone else. She clearly explains the lessons and actively listens to what my concerns are. Ms.Susan has strong subject knowledge that allow me to learn easier from her teaching styles. I would recommend her to any I know who needs assistance with any math course.

We’ve had such a great experience with Susan Perkins as my daughter’s Statistic tutor. My daughter has always struggled with math, but she has completely turned things around. She is incredibly patient, explains concepts in a way that actually makes sense, and takes the time to make sure my daughter truly understands before moving on.

What really stands out is how supportive and encouraging she is—she builds confidence while teaching, which has made a huge difference.

I’ve also heard she’s excellent with Algebra and other math subjects, and based on our experience, I absolutely believe it. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dedicated, effective, and compassionate tutor.

Ms Susan was very kind, reliable and supportive throughout my business calc course. She cares about helping her students succeed and always made sure to explain things in a way that made sense to me before moving on. She helped me do well in the class and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a tutor.

My tutor was super helpful and patient. They explained things clearly and really helped boost my confidence with math. Highly recommended!

Great tutor , I needed a tutor to help me catch up on Elementary Statistics. Made it very easy to solve the problems and work the calculator. I definitely recommend her she is really good at helping you have confidence when it is time to take exams

She is excellent in breaking the concepts down in a way the student can understand and relate. She is patient, flexible in scheduling, and is very knowledgeable in many areas of math. She has helped my student in 8th grade advanced math and high school math. We plan to use her once my student moves on to college in a few years, as I know she also tutors collegiate levels of math. It is easy to schedule extra sessions when a big exam or end of course exam is coming up. We had a situation where my student missed 3 weeks of school due to medical reasons and once he was better she was right there and ready to get them the caught up with the material and extra sessions. We have had several tutors over the years and she is seriously the best one we have had yet!

Helped me achieve an A grade in my MAC2233 class, very helpful. she was very helpful in all unit exams.
