About Lawrence
I am a qualified professional maths tutor with over 12 years of experience teaching maths in High schools and colleges. 4 years of experience teaching maths online has afforded me the privilege of teaching students from various parts of the world, understanding different curriculums, and thereby increasing my teaching methodology. My sessions are primarily carried out over a Google Meet which involves screen sharing and Google electronic whiteboard. I also make use of instructional videos depending on the needs of my students I am a gospel artist with many tracks out there. I also love travelling and meeting new people. I am interactive and excellent at communication, these make my session fun with my students because I love meeting new people.

My teaching style is based on developing a quick rapport with students, by being easygoing, engaging, supportive, understanding, passionate about my subject, pleasant, polite, and humorous. I also have an interest in video games, sports, and movies which I occasionally engage my students in. This helps them loosen up and understand better. Together with instructions and demonstrations, I like to use a range of resources, including screen sharing, instructional videos, a writing tablet, and interactive maths software, depending on the needs of my student, while providing my complete support throughout. These tools make my lessons fun, stimulating, engaging, and challenging, which achieves much better results. My sessions run for 1 hour during which I ensure the student's understanding of the topic. With over a decade of teaching maths and 4 years of online teaching, I have had the privilege of teaching students from various parts of the world and has helped me to change my teaching methodology to meet the needs of the students I am teaching. My lessons are for students of Secondary schools, A-level, GCSE, and college.
