About Rory
I am a Computer Programming tutor with more than 8 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 510 students from school, university, and professional backgrounds. Throughout my teaching career, I have helped learners develop strong programming foundations while improving their confidence in software development and problem-solving.
My teaching approach focuses on practical implementation because programming is a skill that grows through consistent practice and project development. I create structured learning paths that allow students to progress from basic concepts to advanced programming techniques while building confidence at every stage.

My Computer Programming lessons are designed to help students master coding concepts through practical implementation, structured learning pathways, and real-world software development projects. I teach Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, Database Management Systems, and Web Development using a hands-on and project-focused approach.
Students work on coding exercises, debugging activities, application development projects, and software engineering tasks that strengthen logical reasoning and technical problem-solving abilities. Rather than focusing only on theory, I ensure that learners apply every concept through practical coding tasks and project development.
